Lotta Kumpuniemi

I am an associate based in our Helsinki office and a member of our Employment Group.

I specialise in a broad range of employment law issues and I advise both our domestic and international clients. Together with our team, I assist clients in all matters related to employment. Our team always provides top-quality service and proficient guidance to all of our clients.

I joined the Bird & Bird team in 2013. From October 2016 to July 2017 I was seconded to HKScan Oyj, a listed food company, where I worked as an in-house counsel. During the secondment I assisted in various employment law issues and gained a deep understanding of team work and working with business. I gained valuable experience that provided me with an understanding that my clients value highly.

Before graduating from University of Helsinki in 2013, I worked as a trainee here at Bird & Bird and in a leading auditing and consultancy firm in Finland.

In addition to my native Finnish, I speak fluent English.
