About Me
I am a senior associate with our Corporate & Commercial Group in Singapore, where I specialise in M&A and finance.
I work closely with clients from our Corporate & Commercial desk in Singapore to plan and execute their corporate strategies locally and across the Asia-Pac region.In particular, I specialise in growth-focused projects, such as M&A, equity investments and finance.
In addition to transactional engagements, I counsel clients on governance and regulatory compliance by helping clients plan and approach regulators sensitively in order to achieve a change or clarification.
As our clients hail from all over the world, I often assist US, European and Australian multinationals on their Asia-Pac developments, as well as our much cherished local clients on their domestic and going-abroad objectives. I am particularly heartened to watch our clients grow and flourish as a result of our advice, and hope to continue to play a role in future success stories.
Experience
- Singapore counsel to TriMas Corporation on the sale of its Lamons division in Singapore, as part of a global divestment to an investment fund sponsored by First Reserve for US$135 million.
- Advised Sealed Air Corporation on its acquisition of Fagerdala Singapore from management and PE shareholders, the transaction involved global manufacturing facilities in China, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Mexico and the United States with consideration amounting to US$100 million.
- Advised Barghest Building Performance (BBP), a Singapore provider of energy saving solutions, in its latest investment round where BBP successfully secured a S$45 million financing from KKR, this transaction was also noteworthy as KKR's first impact investment globally.
- Singapore counsel to OCAP Management in the due diligence of an SGX Catalist-listed target for a proposed purchase consideration of S$61.8 million.
- Advised a European MNC's PE investment arm on its S$30 million equity investment in a software application business focused on supply-chain management and distribution systems for the Asian market.
- Advised Toronto listed Poet Technologies, designer, developer and manufacturer of optoelectronic devices, on its US$28 million divestment of its Denselight business to a strategic Asian buyer.
- Advised a sports and media giant on its US$500 million syndicated financing arrangement with UBS.
- Singapore counsel to a tech solutions provider on its US$150 million syndicated loan agreement.
- Advised an aviation company on its specialist asset financing amounting to US$91 million.
- Singapore counsel to Standard Chartered and Deutsche Investitions und Entwicklungsgesellschaft (DEG) on their US$30 million acquisition financing of Robin Resources, a Southeast Asian plantation business.
- Advised LYS Energy on its S$14 million green loan from UOB.
