As an associate and a member of our German intellectual property team based in Munich, I advise on intellectual property rights, in particular in the life sciences and healthcare sectors.
As a patent attorney, I advise clients on technical intellectual property issues, in particular patents. I specialise in inter partes proceedings before the German Patent and Trade Mark Office, the European Patent Office and the Federal Patent Court. I am also frequently involved in infringement proceedings and providing expert reviews.
My technical focus is on chemistry, in particular polymer chemistry and technical chemistry, pharmaceuticals and life sciences.
I mainly advise clients in opposition and nullity proceedings of German and European patents. I am also involved in legal validity analyses of patents as well as infringement processes. In addition to that, I have a deep knowledge of international patent prosecution proceedings, in particular with a focus on PCT applications and their phases in EP, US, JP, CN, and KR.
Before joining our firm, I completed my patent attorney training with a renowned patent law firm in Ludwigshafen, including spending time training at the German Patent and Trade Mark Office and the Federal Patent Court in Munich, as well as at the Regional Court in Mannheim.
I am a member of the German Patent Attorney Chamber, the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office (EPI), the Association of Intellectual Property Experts (VPP), the German Licensing Executives Society (LES) and the German Chemical Society (GDCh).
