David Bintliff

I'm a partner in our Commercial Group and head our technology & communications and media, entertainment & sports teams in the Middle East. I've worked in the technology and media industries for over 13 years.

Over that period, I've been lucky to advise some incredible clients on the structuring and negotiation of a number of leading international projects and transactions. We're trusted by our clients to advise them on their critical projects and transactions.

As a team we've co-founded technology start-ups and worked in tech multinationals, delivered financing as part of a venture capital fund and spent time industry-side providing legal and commercial expertise to stakeholders within a variety of companies.

We work across a range of sectors and industries with a particular focus on technology, innovation and digital transformation. Our experience spans strategic alliances, joint ventures and other collaboration and partnering arrangements, acquisitions and spin-offs, licensing, development and distribution arrangements, complex outsourcings, service and licensing agreements and the provision of regulatory advice including payments regulatory advice.

Prior to joining Bird & Bird, I combined my legal work with a role at a venture capital fund focused on sourcing, financing and delivering innovative technology and media projects.
