Claudia Mortensen

As an associate in our Tech & Comms team with a focus on FinTech, I advise national and international clients on Danish and European regulations, with a focus on IT, tech and payments.

As an associate, I advise clients on various aspects within tech and financial regulation, primarily on regulatory matters in the payment sector, including the Payment Services Directive (PSD2 in an international context), the Outsourcing Regulation (EBA's guidelines on outsourcing in an international context), and licensing requirements for payment service providers, among others.

My experience in corporate and competition law allows me to advise a diverse client base on a wide range of commercial and regulatory matters. It is my goal to present our clients with pragmatic and effective commercial solutions and to resolve their legal issues in a simple and cost-effective manner.

Currently, I work at Bird & Bird's headquarters in London, but with monthly visits to the Copenhagen office, to which I am affiliated.
