I am an associate in our Budapest office, with multiple years of experience in the fields of real estate, competition law and in the defence sector.
My career did not start in a typical fashion, as I obtained my first degree in security and defence policy. My professional life started in the defence sector, working at the Ministry of Defence, European Parliament and Office of the Hungarian President. Whilst obtaining significant and valuable insight in this field, I graduated from the Law Faculty of the University of Szeged.
Since then, I have worked on exciting matters including a wide range of real estate transactions, merger control and state aid issues. I have participated in several due diligence exercises, M&A deals, brown- and greenfield investments, sale and purchase of various real estate such as hotels, shopping centres, warehouses, commercial properties and office buildings.
After successfully concluding my PhD studies, I am currently writing my doctoral dissertation on the judicial review of the European Commission's merger control decisions. In parallel to this, I am a lecturer at the University of Public Service, teaching EU law, competition law, international commercial law and the legal aspects of the security and defence sector.
