Thomas advises national and international clients from the automotive industry on contract matters as well as litigation proceedings
Thomas is an associate in our Frankfurt office, where he is a member of our Automotive sector group.
He focuses on commercial contracts, and advises national and international companies on contractual matters and litigation proceedings. With his focus on the automotive supplier industry, Thomas is specialised in setting up and negotiating commercial contracts and general terms and conditions. In addition, he advises on all relevant warranty and liability issues.
Prior to joining us in 2018, he focused on mechanical and plant engineering issues and attended national and international litigation proceedings before arbitration and state courts.
Thomas studied law at the Albert-Ludwigs-University in Freiburg and did his legal clerkship at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court in Hamburg. Furthermore, Thomas conducted his master's studies at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, where he devoted himself to the legal issues of artificial intelligence and automated driving. For his academic achievements, Thomas was awarded the Fowlds Memorial Prize in Law (2017) by the University of Auckland. In addition, he is the author of numerous case notes and articles, published in respective juridical literature.
Thomas speaks German and English.
