I'm an associate in our Intellectual Property Group in The Hague. I love IP law as it allows me to learn all about our clients' products, services and new technologies and to help them protect their brands, innovations and business models.

Specialising in IP law, I have experience in copyrights, patents, trade marks, domain names, designs and advertising. I also have expertise in trade secrets, customs regulations and anti-counterfeiting.

My work focuses mainly on contentious matters, but also includes brand management work and licensing and development agreements. Going on secondment in 2018 gave me valuable insights into one of our clients' daily operations and a better understanding of what an in-house counsel really needs from its lawyers.

Over the years, I have published numerous articles and contributed to several books, including an international book on the law of Computer and Video Games. I am a member of the Dutch group of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property and the Dutch Copyright Association.
