Teresa empathises with each client, trying to provide each client the work in the way that suits him.
Teresa is an Associate of the Madrid IP Group, specialising in patent, trade mark and unfair competition litigation, contractual issues and pharmaceutical regulatory. She holds a double degree in Law and Business Administration obtained from the Autonomous University of Madrid (Extraordinary Prize) and an LLM in Intellectual Property (EOI/Fundación Pons).
She joined Bird & Bird’s Madrid office in August 2007, having worked in the Intellectual Property Group at Bird & Bird since July 2006 as a trainee.
As a litigator, Teresa has experience both in administrative and commercial Courts. She has dealt with litigation on patents, unfair competition, copyright, trademarks and, also, pharmaceutical regulation.
She also deals with contractual issues regarding technology transfer agreements, patent licensing and IP contracts in the framework of the creation of joint-ventures with regard to software development.
She has also been involved in anti-counterfeiting issues regarding electronic products in relation to the application for customs action in Spain.
She lectured about IP matters and also wrote some articles regarding IP and Life Science.
