Swantje Teller advises national and international clients in the fields of Compliance and regulatory issues.
Swantje is an associate in the area of Compliance and member of the Banking & Finance Practice Group based in our office in Frankfurt.
She advises domestic and international clients in all matters of Corporate Governance and Compliance. This involves giving advice on Compliance Risk Analyses, Compliance Management Systems (IDW PS 980), Internal Investigations and Fraud Management. Swantje works on questions regarding capital market Compliance and Compliance with respect to the German KWG / MaRisk, and also advises on aspects of anti-money laundering prevention.
Swantje studied law at the Universities of Bayreuth and Frankfurt. During her times as a legal trainee, she worked for a domestic corporate law firm and an international law firm in Frankfurt on litigation and regulatory matters. Her daily work focused on all aspects of banking and capital markets law as well as applications under the German Capital Markets Model Case Act (KapMuG).
She gained further work experince when she worked for two major German banks.
