With a doctorate in Public Law, Sophie is a distinguished specialist on Public Law and Project Finance issues.
Sophie Pignon is the partner who leads our Public Law and Project Finance group in France.
With a solid public law background, Sophie has considerable experience of dealing with issues arising in the public domain and public contracts, particularly concessions and Public-Private Partnerships, at a national and international level. She advises sponsors and public authorities on complex contracts such as partnerships, concessions and administrative agreements and Emphyteutic hospital leases, in the energy and transport (particularly airport and road boards) sectors, public real estate (with a focus on hospitals, museums) and broadband networks.
She gives legal advice to companies and public authorities on matters related to award and execution of public procurement contracts in France and in Africa.
Sophie moderates several training sessions at the School of Public-Private Partnerships. She holds a Doctorate in Public and Community Law from the Nice Sophia Antipolis University and a DEA postgraduate in International Public Law from the University of Aix-Marseille III.
She is the co-author of a book on financing Public-Private Partnerships (Moniteur-March 2010).
Sophie has been admitted to the Paris Bar.
