Sophie has practised as an in-house banking lawyer and a private practitioner, giving her a strong understanding of the client’s perspective.
Sophie is counsel within our Banking & Finance Group, based in Paris.
Sophie’s practice covers a wide range of financing matters, advising lenders (including French, European and Asian banks), borrowers and public entities.
She has a significant experience in project finance (notably PPPs and renewable energy), asset finance, restructuring, acquisition finance, venture capital finance, general corporate finance (including syndicated loans) and general banking, following a career working both as an in-house banking lawyer and in private practise.
Sophie holds a Doctorate in Public Law from the University of Paris X Nanterre, a postgraduate degree in Administrative and Public Law and a postgraduate degree in International Public Law both from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Master in Public Law from the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas.
Sophie is a member of the Paris Bar.
She speaks French and English.
