Sophie is a Counsel in our Tax Department in Paris.
Her expertise is the fruit of more than 15 years of assisting clients in numerous areas of business such as insurance, industry, retail distribution, media and communications, international commerce and trade and real estate.
She is recognised for her work in fields comprising cost sharing groups, VAT fraud, territoriality of service industries, and leasing. The wide-ranging scope of her interventions include structuring, tax audits, consultations, assistance and due diligence missions.
Sophie was a member of Taj (formerly Deloitte & Touche) for 12 years and also worked at HSD Ernst & Young (Real Estate Department) and Andersen Legal (Knowledge Department).
She is one of a few number of experts in France who regularly publishes articles in the legal trade press, in particular the Revue de Droit Fiscal (LexisNexis).
She is a co-author of “Crédit-bail immobilier : la gestion fiscale en pratique” (Real Estate Leasing: Practical and Tax Management) (Publ. EFE, 2009).
Sophie is also an editor of the French Jurisclasseur on tax law by LexisNexis.
She is, amongst others, a graduate of the University of Paris-Dauphine and the University of Canterbury. Sophie also has an International Diploma in European tax law (University of Bourgogne)
Sophie is a frequent speaker at leading French business schools, universities and professional institutions (University Paris XI Dauphine, EDHEC Lille, EFE...).
Sophie is fully bilingual in French and English.
