As Senior Counsel in our Middle East Intellectual Property Group based out of Dubai, I offer over 25 years' of experience in the protection and enforcement of IP rights.

I advise clients on protecting their valuable IP assets in the Middle East and internationally, including IP portfolio management, advising on global rebrands, filing strategies including use of the Madrid Protocol, managing domestic and cross-border IP disputes and litigation matters, devising worldwide enforcement strategies, and counselling on complex IP transactions and acquisitions.

Over the years, I have assisted clients from startups to multinationals across all industry areas. My specialist areas of expertise are automotive, aviation, FMCG, retail and consumer, hospitality, pharmaceutical, and technology.

Before joining the firm in 2015 and re-joining in 2023, I worked for other leading international law firms and boutique IP firms in the UAE, UK, USA and Ireland, where I gained significant multi-jurisdictional IP experience.

• I advised and represented a well known telecommunications company and a well known grooming company on the enforcement of their famous brands against infringers in the UAE.
• I advised and represented an international education company on the registration of their trade marks around the world.
• I advised a famous mattress company and a real estate company on rebranding and have registered their new trade marks and logos worldwide.

• I advised and represented a well known electrical appliance manufacturer in a UAE trade mark opposition with their former distributor.
• I advised a well known cosmetics company on the enforcement of their brands and successfully stopped infringers selling counterfeits of their products in multiple countries around the world including in Europe, India, USA and Latin America.
• I advised a famous toy manufacturer on a trade mark infringement lawsuit in Saudi Arabia.
• I advised and represented an international education company in a dispute with a financial solutions company in the UK, which was successfully settled amicably.
