Sarah Blennerhassett

Registered Foreign Lawyer

I am a registered foreign lawyer in Bird & Bird's international HR Services Group, based in Hong Kong. Working together with my team, I provide employment law solutions to clients operating across the Asia-Pacific region. With a background in dispute resolution, I can support clients in both contentious and non-contentious matters.

I advise businesses across a broad range of industry sectors on all aspects of the employment relationship from hiring to termination. I support clients with day-to-day employment matters such as redesigning employment policies and also advise on more challenging issues such terminations, workplace investigations, discrimination and harassment claims, restructuring and redundancies. Having worked with many global clients, I also have experience managing complex multi-jurisdictional projects.

What I love most about my work in the international HR Services group is getting to know clients and understand their businesses. With experience working in Dublin, London and Hong Kong, I try to bring a global perspective to my work. As a team, we pride ourselves on our client service and on our ability to deliver practical, forward-looking advice on time and within budget. We see ourselves not as advisers but as business partners, and seek to work with our clients to help them to overcome their problems and achieve their goals.
