Sandra is a corporate lawyer with extensive experience in the energy & utilities and real estate & infrastructure sectors, as well as public projects.
Sandra is the joint managing partner of our office in Singapore.
She is an experienced corporate lawyer and has extensive experience in local and cross-border mergers and acquisitions. She advises a large variety of companies, ranging from multinational companies to medium-sized and small private companies. She is also well known for her work in coordinating merger and restructures, and post-merger integrations.
Sandra currently acts as the legal advisor to a number of regulators, including Energy Market Authority of Singapore, Building & Construction Authority, Jurong Town Corporation, People’s Association, and National Arts Council.
Sandra is an experienced transactional lawyer for utility & infrastructure projects, technical and IT contracts, public procurement and tenders and state leasing work, as well as strata management in Singapore and the Asia Pacific region.
She has acted as lead coordinator for a large number of innovative public projects in Singapore, such as the first EPC template contract for energy conservation, first desalination plant in Singapore, first sectoral competition appeal in the gas sector and the first tri-generation project in Singapore. She also advised on the first LNG terminal project for Singapore as well as the iconic SportsHub PPP project.
Sandra has spoken at various events on energy, competition and corporate governance issues. She is a council member of the Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS), the Energy Studies Institute (ESI) and the Waste Management & Recycling Association of Singapore (WMRAS) and a director of two local charities. She is the co-author of “Business Guide to Competition Law”, published by Sweet & Maxwell in 2011.
