Sandra is a corporate lawyer with extensive experience in energy & utilities, land laws and tech & comms.

Sandra is the joint managing partner and head of the Corporate & Commercial Group of our office in Singapore.

She has extensive experience in M&A and regulatory work in Singapore, and currently acts as the legal advisor to a number of regulators, including Energy Market Authority of Singapore, Building & Construction Authority, People’s Association, and National Arts Council.

Sandra is an experienced transactional lawyer for utility projects, technical and IT contracts, public procurement, regulatory work, built to suit and state leasing, strata management, and environmental laws in Singapore and the Asia Pacific region.

She has acted as lead coordinator for a large number of innovative public projects in Singapore, such as the first desalination plant in Singapore, first sectoral competition appeal in the gas sector, first tri-generation project in Singapore. She also advised on the first LNG terminal project for Singapore as well as the iconic SportsHub PPP project.

Sandra has spoken widely on energy and corporate governance issues. She is a council member of the Sustainable Energy Association of Singapore (SEAS), the Energy Studies Institute (ESI) and the Waste Management & Recycling Association of Singapore (WMRAS) and a director of a local charity. She is the co-author of “Business Guide to Competition Law”, published by Sweet & Maxwell in 2011.
