Sam is an Associate in our International HR Services Group, based in London.
Advising on a broad variety of matters across the employment life-cycle, Sam has particular experience of co-ordinating large international projects and working with clients within the technology, media, sports and entertainment sectors.
Sam has also spent time working within our Privacy & Data Protection team, so is well placed to advise on employee data processing issues and the GDPR’s impact on HR operations. He regularly advises on employment documentation, employee competition and the protection of business secrets, discrimination issues, TUPE and immigration queries.
He has provided strategic advice to clients in relation to prospective and current litigation, before the Employment Tribunal and High Court. Sam also has experience assisting clients with alternative dispute resolution, including the successful mediation of employment disputes.
Sam read Law at university, graduating with starred first class honours. He qualified as a solicitor in September 2017, having spent time within our commercial, employment, sports and intellectual property teams during his training contract.
Sam also has significant in-house experience, having completed secondments to a national sports governing body and one of the world’s largest financial institutions.
