Swee Siang is a partner based in Singapore, where he heads the Dispute Resolution Group.
He has been practising in the field of civil litigation and international arbitration for more than 18 years, and has handled aspects of litigation at all levels, from the State Courts through to the Court of Appeal. He was involved in the largest representative action in Singapore's history to date, and has also represented international banks and large corporations in the High Court and the Court of Appeal.
Swee Siang has experience in the areas of commercial and banking litigation, defamation, professional negligence, construction law, and employment law: a field within which he advises a number of multi-national companies and international airlines.
He also has extensive experience in the field of domestic as well as international arbitration, having regularly represented parties in high value international arbitrations involving various rules, including ICC, SIAC, LCIA and Swiss Rules of Arbitration. He has also acted in ad hoc arbitrations.
