I joined Bird & Bird in 2018. Before that, I worked in the labour and employment group of a leading Chinese law firm for two years. My experience covers various employment related issues, such as dispute resolution, labour outsourcing, overseas secondment, social insurance contribution, employee incentives and benefits, recruitment, management and termination, with a sector focus on media, entertainment and sports, retail and consumer, energy and utilities as well as general manufacturing.
I have broad experience in commercial bribery investigation, employment law compliance, business immigration, individual income tax law and HR related data protection matters. I frequently participate in M&A, bankruptcy and insolvency projects, and assist in large-scale employee resettlements caused by company restructurings. My rich experience gives me a profound understanding of the Chinese labour and social security legislation regime and also enables me to identify our clients' needs.
