Robert advises and acts for clients across Asia in the tech & comms, financial services and energy sectors in both international arbitration and commercial litigation matters.

Robert is a partner in our International Dispute Resolution Group, based in Hong Kong.

He specialises in international arbitration, commercial litigation and giving regulatory advice. 

With particular experience in the tech & comms, financial services and energy sectors, Robert has been involved in a wide range of corporate and commercial disputes, typically involving an international element, including contractual disputes, shareholder and joint venture disputes, private equity disputes and fraud.

Admitted in Hong Kong and in England & Wales, Robert has represented clients from a wide range of jurisdictions under the rules of most major arbitral institutions, including the HKIAC, CIETAC, ICC and LCIA.

Robert is a contributing editor of Hong Kong Civil Procedure (the "White Book").

His appointments include membership of the Law Society of Hong Kong's Standing Committee on External Affairs, Arbitration Committee and International Legal Affairs Committee and he is C0-Chair of the HKIAC's HK45.

Robert is recognised as a Leading Individual for Arbitration by Chambers Asia Pacific 2017 and a Recommended Lawyer for Litigation and International Arbitration by Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2017.
