I'm a partner in the Banking & Finance Group in London. I specialise in structured asset finance, with a particular focus on the aviation and rail sectors.

Over the years, I've handled aviation, rail and other asset transactions on behalf of financial institutions, leasing companies, operators, arrangers and equity investors.

I enjoy getting to know my clients and their needs and working to achieve the best possible commercial outcome for them. I've helped clients close commercial debt financings, operating leases, structured tax-based financings, acquisition financings, equity/debt funds, export-credit deals, asset portfolio sales and purchases, joint ventures, Islamic financings, secondary market debt trades, as well as structure award-winning, first-of-kind deals and establish new investment platforms. I've also advised on repossession, work-out and restructuring scenarios.

Bird & Bird's collaborative, friendly culture means we operate very effectively as a global team. This allows us to handle complex global deals that require seamless coordination between various offices, and to bring in specialist advice in areas such as regulatory, corporate, tax, derivatives, insolvency, litigation, when needed. Our culture also makes Bird & Bird a great place to work.

Most recently, I've been involved in Bird & Bird's initiative to use technology to transform the way legal services are delivered. In my practice area, we use online portals for transaction management, complemented by virtual closing rooms and document automation, and we are trialling the latest AI. This drives transaction efficiencies, allowing our lawyers to focus more on analysis and adding value.

I am a member of the Aviation Working Group (AWG) Cape Town Convention UK Contact Group and the International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading (ISTAT).
