I'm a dispute resolution lawyer in Hong Kong. I help global organisations resolve cross-border disputes in the Asia Pacific region, where my experience spans commercial litigation, arbitration and regulatory matters.
Cross-border disputes can be challenging, particularly when they arise in unfamiliar jurisdictions. My role, as a disputes lawyer, is to help clients navigate the complexities of international disputes, ensuring that we pursue the right strategy for each individual client to effectively resolve a dispute quickly and appropriately.
Since moving to Hong Kong from London in 2014, I've worked with global clients on a range of multi-jurisdictional disputes involving shareholder disputes, misappropriation of trade secrets, cyber fraud, IP licensing, sales of goods, debt recovery, asset tracing and jurisdictional challenges. I get involved at all stages of a dispute, from providing strategic analysis at the pre-action stage, fighting contentious proceedings, advising on settlement negotiations and pursuing effective enforcement strategies.
Recognising that there are many alternatives to litigation, one of my particular focuses is arbitration where I have experience of arbitral proceedings involving LCIA, CIETAC, HKIAC, SIAC and the UNCITRAL rules.
