Piotr Zawadzki

I am a senior associate in the Intellectual Property and TMT teams in Warsaw.

I have been advising clients since 2008, specialising in supporting clients in innovative sectors such as pharmaceutical, media, advertising, IT and electronics, as well as banking, finance, energy, construction, automotive, film and food, including manufacturers and distributors of alcoholic beverages. I focus on copyright, trademark, and patent law, as well as internet domain protection, advertising law, protection of business and trade secrets, and personal data regulations.

I also represent clients in litigation before the Patent Office, and common and arbitration courts, and advise on intellectual property and personal data protection issues in a variety of business transactions, including real estate and share deals, as well as acquisition and transfer of intellectual property rights to joint venture entities.

I gained my professional experience while working for top international law firms, also as head of their IP/IT teams.

I graduated from Warsaw University, Faculty of Law and Administration, completed studies on Italian and European law organised by the University of Warsaw in cooperation with the University of Catania, and postgraduate studies on modern technologies law at Kozminski University.

I am author and co-author of numerous articles on intellectual property, as well as a lecturer and speaker at conferences and trainings.

I am a member of the Warsaw Bar Association, and a member of the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys. He is also member of the Association for the Protection of Industrial Property – Polish National Group of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI).
