I am an associate in our competition and regulatory teams, based in The Hague and London.

Since my admission to the bar in 2012, I have had a passion for competition law and sector-specific (market) regulations. Every day I aim to provide high quality, practical advice for our clients by applying my in-depth understanding of competition and regulatory law.

Over the years I have specialised in EU and Dutch competition, energy and telecommunication laws. In telecommunication law, I have specific expertise on the regulatory framework that applies to electronic communication infrastructure gained as co-chair of the Dutch Rights of Way Association. I also have detailed knowledge on the national and EU net neutrality regulations as a result of completing an international study on this topic for the European Commission.

As competition lawyer, I have been involved in numerous administrative law proceedings and gained substantial experience in cartel cases, merger control and abuse of dominance matters. I have represented several clients during unannounced inspections by competition authorities and I regularly provide competition law advice to our clients on a wide range of commercial agreements.

As well as publishing regularly on competition and regulatory law topics, I am a member of the Dutch Administrative Law Association, the Dutch Energy Law Association and the Dutch Competition Law Association.
