Philippe combines skills in both IT and financial law.

Philippe is an associate in our Tech & Comms Group based in Paris, with a particular interest in Fintech.

He assists European clients in the framework of the provision of innovative financial services. Philippe works on in-depth financial and IT issues, such as the collection of financial data, anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing legislation, EU Directives related to e-money and payment services, and the legal framework applicable to electronic signatures.

Additionally, he drafts IT contracts, such as legal documents for use on the internet (general conditions of use/sales, legal notices, collection of personal data), legal opinions and assists his clients in the process of acquiring financial institution licences (electronic money / payment institutions).

Philippe completed the first year of his Master's Degree in business law in the United States and interned at a major aerospace company in Australia.

At university, he specialised in information technology and intellectual property, disciplines which constituted the cornerstone of his student-lawyer training.

Before joining us in 2017, he gained experience at a leading French IP law firm and a full service Franco-Belgian firm.

Philippe's articles on Fintech related topics and business law are regularly published on legal news websites and specialised publications. He also delivers trainings on IT law and presents at conferences on financial matters.
