Peter is one of the leading specialists in public procurement law in Denmark.
Peter is a partner in our EU and Competition Group and head of the Public Procurement team in Denmark.
For the past 16 years, he has advised on the public procurement rules and the related areas of law as well as agreements in the public sector. He assists public contracting entities and companies in the utilities sector and advises tenderers on preparing their tender.
Peter advises on procurement strategy; implementation of market dialogue before a public tender; drafting the competition documents, including the contract and the contract conditions; legal quality assurance of the requirement specification; negotiations; and external and internal contract management.
Peter is very committed to simplifying public procurement and the use of public procurement rules by focusing on the commercial advantages in a public procedure. He has represented clients in a large number of cases before the Danish Complaints Board for Public Procurement.
He has extensive experience of working with politically controlled organisations, when working with public clients as project leader in connection with public procedures of complex IT acquisitions, project procedures regarding construction work and framework agreements for procurement associations. He also focuses on public-private innovation processes, formation of municipal corporations and implementation of ESCO projects. Peter primarily assists clients in the healthcare, construction and IT industries.
He is a frequent lecturer at seminars on the public procurement directives and the utilities procurement directives for the contracting entities and seminar companies.
Peter speaks Danish and English and has an understanding of German and the Scandinavian languages.
