In my role as a senior associate in our International HR Services group based in Madrid, I advise Spanish and international entities on all matters of Spanish employment law.

I advise our clients on Spanish employment law. This includes hiring workforce, drafting and adapting contracts (including restrictive covenants where necessary) and redundancy processes, including assistance in all steps of the separation process and production of the necessary documents for this purpose.

Likewise, I assist our clients on their collective consultation processes with trade unions and employees' representatives, including negotiation of collective agreements, collective modifications of working conditions, collective redundancy processes and employees' representatives' elections processes.

I also assist our clients before the Spanish courts in litigations relating to employment issues and before Spanish employment and social security authorities.

Over the years I have gained experience in adapting to Spanish regulations and applying internal group policies as compliance policies, IT use policies, trade secrets protection policies, codes of conduct or remote work policies.

Our team also assists our clients in M&A processes (both local and international), advising on the application of employment regulations, carrying out due diligence reports and providing further assistance after the deal is closed if needed.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I began my career in a Spanish employment boutique which was subsequently absorbed by KPMG as its employment department.
