Nora has extensive experience of handling employment and HR matters for clients in various sectors.
Nora is a Counsel based at our Helsinki office. She is a member of the Finnish Employment Group and she focuses on all aspects of employment and public office relations, as well as in Dispute Resolution.
Nora advises domestic and international corporate clients in a comprehensive range of employment and HR matters on a daily basis. Nora has extensive experience of handling employment matters from a variety of business areas of employment law, including employment and director agreements and different service relationship issues, restructuring of labour, cooperation procedures and terminations of employment, as well as disputes arising out of terminations and also the settlement of such disputes. Nora also advises clients in pension liability issues.
Prior to joining us Nora worked as an associate and a senior attorney for other leading Finnish law firms in Finland. She's also an experienced mediator and has acted as a voluntary mediator in crime and civil right cases in Helsinki metropolitan area.
One of Nora's strengths is lecturing and she is an active speaker and trainer as well as the author of a number of articles on employment law related topics including: employment pension reform, equality law, pension reform and pension liability and case law at the Supreme Court.
Nora graduated from the University of Helsinki in 2006. She was called to the Finnish Bar in 2010. She is also member of the European Employment Lawyers Association (EELA) and The Finnish Society for Labour and Social Security Law.
In addition to Finnish Nora speaks fluent English.
