As counsel in our Helsinki-based Finnish Employment group, I focus on all aspects of employment and public office relations, as well as on dispute resolution.

I advise our domestic and international corporate clients on a comprehensive range of employment and HR matters on a daily basis. With extensive experience of handling matters from a variety of business areas of employment law, I provide advice on employment and director agreements and service relationship issues, the restructuring of labour, co-operation procedures and terminations of employment, as well as the dispute and settlement of issues arising out of terminations. I also advise our clients on pension liability issues.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked as an associate and senior attorney at other leading law firms here in Finland. I am also an experienced mediator and have acted as a voluntary mediator in crime and civil right cases in the Helsinki metropolitan area.

As an active and confident public speaker, I am a lecturer and trainer as well as the author of a number of articles on employment law topics including employment pension reform, equality law, pension reform and pension liability and case law at the Supreme Court.

In addition to Finnish, I speak fluent English.
