I am an associate in the Commercial Group in London, where I advise clients primarily on the legal and regulatory aspects of technology, communications and aerospace projects.

Before joining Bird & Bird, I worked in legal and regulatory roles in the space industry. This included time at a specialist consultancy firm in London, working closely with both commercial and government clients on the regulatory, policy and strategy aspects of their space projects, and two years in the legal department of the European Space Agency at its headquarters in Paris. I have gained further insight into the needs of companies in this industry, having spent time during my training contract on secondment to one of the leading global satellite operators.

I have used this prior experience to work with clients in the technology, communications and aerospace sectors and assist on a range of issues, from commercial contracts and telecommunications regulation to aeronautical licensing and IP litigation.

Outside of private practice, I was elected to the Board of the European Centre for Space Law in 2019 and I teach Masters students on space law and satellite regulation at the University of Strathclyde Law School in Glasgow, UK. I participate regularly in aerospace conferences and have been published on the topics of space contracts, satellite regulation and telecommunications law.
