Nadine advises national and international clients comprehensively in all fields of non-technical intellectual property rights
Nadine is an associate in our Frankfurt office and member of our Intellectual Property Practice Group.
She has more than eight years of experience in advising national and international clients in all fields of non-technical Intellectual Property Law in German and English language, covering German, European and International Trademark and Design Law, Copyright and Unfair Competition Law.
Nadine focuses on the strategic advice and development of worldwide trade mark filing strategies, including availability searches prior to trade mark filing, representation of clients in registration, opposition and cancellation proceedings. She also has experience in working together with foreign counsel in coordinating and ensuring the execution of trade mark monitoring in relation to potentially infringing third party trademarks, judicial and extrajudicial defense of trade marks against infringement and dilution, negotiating and drafting transfer, delimitation and licensing agreements and advising clients in connection with the fight against counterfeiting and product piracy.
Nadine studied Law at the Johannes Gutenberg-Universität in Mainz (Germany) and the University of Glasgow (UK), where she graduated with the Magister Iuris title. During her legal training she worked in our Intellectual Property Practice Group for six months. Prior to her Second State Examination she finalised her dissertation and received her doctorate. Nadine was admitted to the Frankfurt bar in July 2009 and has been working in our Frankfurt office since then.
