Monika Kucharczyk is an expert in public procurement law.
Monika is a Senior Associate in the Public Procurement practice in our Warsaw office
She has been advising clients since 2007 and she specialises in public procurement, contract and construction law.
Monika supports our IT practice advising on projects related to public procurement proceedings in the IT sector, including the supply and implementation of IT systems.
She advises contractors and contracting authorities on each stage of the procurement process across a variety of sectors: construction, medical, infrastructure, post and energy. She prepares tender documents, including terms of reference and model agreements, and she verifies submitted tenders. Monika assists clients during the performance of public procurement contracts and prepares opinions on public procurement issues.
Monika also represents clients before the National Appeals Chamber and regional courts.
Prior to joining Bird & Bird, she worked for a public finance sector entity, a consulting firm and an international law firm.
She has authored numerous publications, spoken at conferences and conducted workshops dedicated to public procurement law.
Monika graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun and completed post graduate studies in the legal and economic basics of investment processes at Warsaw School of Economics.
Monika is fluent in Polish and English.
