Michael advises clients on domestic and cross-border litigation as well as on arbitration.
Michael is an associate in our German Dispute practice, based in Dusseldorf.
A member of both our International Dispute Resolution Group and our International Commercial Group, Michael's practice focuses on advising companies from the life science and energy sectors, in particular on conducting complex litigation and arbitration proceedings with a national and international context relating to all aspects under contract and commercial law. This includes the adjustment of long-term contracts within arbitration proceedings as well as large-scale disputes in connection with grid connection systems in the German North Sea.
His work on arbitration matters covers all stages, from the initial advice and settlement negotiations up until the enforcement (or the resisting of enforcement) of an award. He is experienced in conducting international arbitration proceedings under various institutional rules, in particular under the arbitration rules of DIS and ICC.
He joined us in February 2011, and was admitted to the bar in the same year.
Michael speaks German, English and Czech.
