I am a senior associate and solicitor-advocate (Higher Courts Civil) in our Dispute Resolution Group in London.

I enjoy a broad commerical disputes and investigations practice and have acted on numerous high profile and high value matters.

I have over 10 years of experience in domestic and international litigation, arbitration and investigations. In that time I have enjoyed grappling with a range of complex issues across numerous sectors and jurisdictions. This experience has taught me that whilst no two cases are identical, the same processes can be applied to ensure the best outcome is achieved for the client.

It is essential to ensure the client's goals are understood at the outset; structure the correct team to support those goals; swiftly pinpoint the relevant information; and provide advice in a commercial context.

Although my practice is broad, I do have a particular focus on the banking and finance, aviation, and energy and utilities sectors, and a specialism for compliance and investigations, insurance coverage and fraud matters.

In recent years, I have been involved in litigating swap mis-selling and LIBOR manipulation; advising on SFO, data breach and cybersecurity investigations and structures; analysing aircraft engine performance issues and liabilities; acting for the administrators of the primary European entity of a large global bank; and advising a core participant in an extensive public inquiry into media practices and the related phone hacking claims.

Before joining Bird & Bird in 2013, I was an associate at another global law firm, where I trained.
