Mary-Ann specialises in labour and employment law.
Mary-Ann is an associate in our International HR Group based in Brussels.
She assists Belgian and international companies on all the different aspects of individual and collective employment law and social security law, ranging from transactional and business restructuring projects to general advisory work. Her main areas of practice include immigration law, transfer of undertakings, cross border mergers, collective dismissals, individual dismissals including those of protected employees and employment litigation in general, employee representative bodies, sham-self employment and social security law.
Mary-Ann obtained her Master's degree at the University of Leuven (KUL), during which she spent one year at the University of Bordeaux, France as part of the Erasmus Programme.
Mary-Ann is a member of several professional associations, including the American Chambers of Commerce Belgium (AmCham, HR Committee, 2015 – Present), Professional Women International (2015 – Present) and the Social Law Association (2011 – Present).
Prior to joining us she worked as a summer associate at Baker and Mckenzie and 3 years in the employment law department at Altius.
Mary-Ann was admitted to the Brussels bar in 2011.
She speaks English, Dutch and French.
