Martin is an expert on public procurement, especially in the health care sector.
Martin is a certified specialist lawyer in public procurement law and counsel in the corresponding practise group, based in Hamburg.
He primarily works with public authorities and companies, on major projects in the fields of health care, transportation and defence and also advises on matters of public regulatory law. He has several years experience in federal public procurement procedures, particularly allowance contracts in relation to pharmaceutical products and other health care related contracts. In addition, Martin was involved with proceedings concerning the introduction of the electronic health insurance card including the build-up to and operation of telematics in the German health sector. Martin successfully completed secondments with different clients, supporting and advising them in-house during the implementation of challenging procurement procedures.
Martin previously worked as a lawyer for a national health care company for three years. As deputy head of the procurement department, the focus of his work was the conception, preparation and execution of complex tendering procedures.
Martin studied law at the University of Heidelberg. His working languages are German, English and French.
