Martin advises on all areas of employment law. Adopting a clear and commercial approach, he is experienced in handling high value litigation and complex restructuring projects, both domestic and international.

Martin is an Associate in our International HR Services Group, based in London.

Acting for a broad range of clients operating across a number of sectors, including global financial institutions and multinational corporates, Martin advises on all areas of employment law (both contentious and non-contentious) including disciplinary, grievance and redundancy related matters, as well as settlement agreements, contracts of employment and other ordinary day-to-day HR issues.

Martin has particular experience in handling high value Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation, including in areas of discrimination and whistleblowing, as well as complex restructuring and outsourcing projects often involving the application of TUPE or other collective information and consultation requirements.

He is experienced in advocacy, having appeared on behalf of clients in a number of Employment Tribunal hearings across the UK.

Martin qualified as a lawyer in 2008, having studied law at the University of Glasgow. Prior to joining the practice he worked for a Magic Circle firm, also based on London.
