About Me

I am a senior associate in Bird & Bird's Dispute Resolution Group in Singapore, and have represented clients in various high-value cross-border civil and commercial litigation and international arbitration.

I have advised and acted for local, foreign and multinational clients on multiple cross-border contentious matters. Leveraging on my background in aeronautical engineering, I advised and acted for a reputable Asian airline in an arbitration under the SIAC Rules against one of the largest Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organisations in the world, involving claims and counterclaims in excess of S$90 million. I have also represented clients in relation to their disputes on various infrastructure projects including the construction of a 5-star resort in the Maldives, public utilities pipelines in Singapore, tunnel ventilation systems in Singapore, and oil pipelines in the UAE.

As part of my local civil and commercial litigation portfolio, I have acted for clients at both State Courts and Supreme Court level. Some of the more notable matters that I have assisted on concern microtunneling works for public utilities, minority oppression claims and shareholder disputes, claims for breaches of directors' duties, and claims for breach of duty of care by an architect.
