Maria specialises in public procurement law according to the EU procurement rules and the Danish Tendering Act.
Maria is an associate in our Danish Public Procurement Group.
Her experience with public tenders involves outsourcing projects and tenders covered by the Danish Company Transfer Act as well as general advice on procurement, other public law cases, and contractual issues.
Maria assists with conducting all phases of the tendering process, including technical dialogue with the market, drafting and quality assurance of tender documents, conducting prequalification and evaluating tenders.
Maria also works as a teaching assistant and examiner at the University of Copenhagen on family and inheritance law as well as a volunteer advisor at Copenhagen Legal Aid.
She joined us in 2013 having previously worked for the Defence Command Denmark in their Strategic Procurement Branch. During her time there she gained practical experience with procurement projects in the public sector and has attained a great knowledge of, and an insight into, the political decision making process.
She has a law degree from University of Copenhagen and has also studied for one semester at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. She qualified in September 2015.
Maria speaks Danish and English.
