Maria Guzewska specialises in personal Data Protection and Intellectual Property law issues
Maria is a Junior Associate in the Intellectual Property and Data Protection teams in our Warsaw office.
She has been advising clients since 2013, and specialises in privacy and data protection, e-commerce and consumer law, as well as IP and unfair competition. In particular, she advises on international data transfers, HR data processing, marketing and distance sales. She also assists clients with matters related to trademark registration, portfolio management and infringement proceedings.
Maria has advised clients from various sectors, including the fashion industry, FMCG, electronics and financial services. In her practice she often assists international clients, combining her English law background with her practical experience gained on the Polish market.
Before joining us, she worked in the IP/TMT department of an international law firm in Warsaw.
Maria graduated from the Faculty of Law of University College London (LL.B.) and obtained a Master of Laws degree in Intellectual Property from London School of Economics and Political Science.
She is an advocate trainee with the Warsaw Bar Council.
She works in Polish, English and German.
