As an associate in our International Aviation and Aerospace Group in London, I bring an international outlook and deep sector experience to my client work, advising on aviation transactions.

I have specialised in aviation for over a decade, having initially qualified as a general banking lawyer. My work has involved a broad range of aviation transactions for lessors, airlines, commercial lenders and export credit agencies. Over the years, I have built up significant experience in commercial leasing, acting for operating lessors and airlines in Europe, the Middle East, the US and Asia on aircraft purchases and disposals, operating leases, lease novations and debt financings. I also have particular expertise in export credit financings, having acted for both the European ECAs and ECA lenders and several airlines on numerous ECA financings of new Airbus and ATR aircraft.

My work also involves all areas of corporate and private aviation, acting for lenders, corporates, individuals and management companies on the financing, trading and management of corporate jets.

Prior to joining Bird & Bird in 2016 I was an associate at a UK-based international law firm for over eight years, working in their Paris and London offices.
