I am a lawyer in our Intellectual Property team based in Madrid. My work is focused on litigation issues relating to patents, trade marks and unfair competition.

I have been part of the IP team at Bird & Bird since 2014. Since the beginning, I have provided advice on complex legal proceedings involving patents, trade marks, designs and unfair competition. Also, much of my experience covers the representation of clients in trade mark administrative procedures before the Spanish Patent and Trade Mark Office and EUIPO.

Beyond my contentious expertise, I also provide legal advice on other matters such as the negotiation of agreements relating to IP rights in a number of innovative business sectors.

I advise multinational companies in the retail, pharmaceutical and industrial sectors. My work requires close coordination with our colleagues in other Bird & Bird offices.

As a result, my knowledge branches outside the law, for example with statistics or technology, which allows me to adopt a structured and critical perspective on certain tangential aspects of intellectual property. I like to think I can offer solutions with added value for my clients beyond the legal aspect of the matter.

In our department we are used to working as a team, there are synergies arising from each member's point of view. In my opinion, being a coordinated team allows us to provide a proper answer to the complex problems for our international clients.
