I'm an associate in our international Privacy & Data Protection group in Denmark where I use my in-depth experience to advice clients in all aspects of data protection.

I advise national as well as international clients, including public authorities on all matters of European and Danish data protection law, including international data transfers, use of data processors and data processor agreements, use of personal data for marketing purposes, data protection due diligence in connection with business transfers and general compliance issues regarding the processing of personal data. During the last two years, I have planned, project managed and implemented a number of compliance projects in connection with the application of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), ranging from data-mapping, analysis of data flows and drafting of various data protection related documents, eg data protection policies, fair processing notices and records of processing activities.

With the GDPR becoming applicable, data subjects have become even more aware of their rights and how to exercise them. I have assisted a number of clients who have been approached by the data subjects themselves or by the Danish Data Protection Agency who challenge the clients processing of personal data.

I am a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E).

I have a background within labour and employment law which gives me in-depth knowledge of HR related data protection law. This is relevant for every business and public authority when processing personal data on employees.
