Magdalena Szczepkowska specialises in advising on corporate, civil and capital markets law issues.

Magdalena has been advising clients since 2014, and specialises in corporate governance, drafting company agreements, all documents required for day-to-day corporate operations, as well as investment agreements.
She also analyses organisational and investment firm activity regulations regarding Polish and EU law compliance, as well as applications for entry in the register of investment firm agents.
Magdalena has advised investment fund companies on the implementation of the AIFM to Polish law and FATCA regulations. She has prepared investment fund statutes and legal opinions on the Investment Funds Acts. She has also conducted trainings at the Gdansk Business Incubator.
Prior to joining Bird & Bird, she gained her experience working in the Financial Supervision Authority in the Department of Investment Firms and Capital Market Infrastructure, as well as in law firms specialising in corporate advisory and capital markets law.
Magdalena graduated from the faculty of law at Kozminski University, and also completed postgraduate studies on law and capital markets economics at the Warsaw School of Economics, as well as postgraduate studies on company law and the Center for American Law at the University of Warsaw.
She works in Polish and English.
