Lynne is particularly recognised for her work in trademarks, patents, copyright, breach of confidence and advertising litigation and life sciences regulatory advice and counselling.
Lynne is a partner in our Intellectual Property practice, based in Sydney.
She has a broad practice covering both soft and hard IP for clients in numerous sectors including Life Science, Retail & Consumer, Aviation, Financial Services, Mining and Telecommunications, advising on all aspects of the creation, acquisition, commercialisation, management, protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights.
Lynne regularly represents clients in complex multi-jurisdiction litigation. She acts for clients in litigation to enforce IP rights including patents, designs, trademarks, copyright, confidential information and in actions relating to allegations of misleading and deceptive conduct.
Clients regularly seek Lynne's advice on advertising clearance and disputes and she has acted for companies in landmark cases including representing Gillette before the Full Federal Court in the Duracell Bunny case, which set the benchmark for comparative advertising in Australia.
She holds Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (Hons) and Bachelor of Economics (BEc) from the University of Sydney.
