I am a partner based in the Sydney office and I am a member of the International Corporate Group, and the energy & utilities and healthcare & life sciences teams.

I have a diverse practice, covering corporate, commercial and property law. I strive to be a trusted legal advisor to my clients with an in depth understanding of their strategic, legal and commercial needs. I will guide clients through the different avenues available to help them to reach their optimal business outcomes.

I am international in my outlook, and work closely with colleagues and my wider professional networks to forge stronger cross-border collaboration. In addition to being admitted as a lawyer in Australia, I am also qualified to practice in South Africa and have been admitted to practice in Namibia and Lesotho.

In corporate law, I have significant experience in M&A transactions as well as in structuring and insolvency.

Over the many years I have been working in commercial law, I have advised on all kinds of different business arrangements, including supplier and distribution agreements. Franchising, a significant and dynamic area in the Australian retail and consumer sector, has been a prominent part of my commercial work.

I have also worked on the real estate components of shopping centres, high rise strata developments, and renewable energy projects.

When I am not in the office, I like to spend time practicing the martial arts, which require focus, precision, technical prowess and calmness: these are all skills which I bring to my work as a lawyer.
