As Counsel in our Intellectual Property and Data Protection Groups in Lyon, I am an expert in negotiating and drafting agreements, particularly in IT and new technology. I also assist our clients on their data protection compliance initiatives and issues.

I advise our clients on the daily management of their contracts; negotiating and drafting contracts, securing rights, licenses, transfers, sub-contracting and R&D partnerships. I help them to secure their rights and to find the best way to use them.
For our IT clients, I assist with their systems integration operations, outsourcing, ASP offers, software licenses, project management and maintenance.

I can also assist our clients in front of the French courts, in cases related to wrongful termination of an agreement, breach of an agreement and so on.

In data protection, we have assisted clients with their GDPR compliance initiatives including audits. We then drafted deliverables such as privacy notices, records of processing activities, and internal policies. We now assist them in their day-to-day data protection issues related to management of the rights, consents and controller / processor questions.

After internships in companies and law firms, I started my career in the IP team of a French law firm. During my seven years there, I was involved in the building of the IP team in the Lyon office.

  • Assisting one of our clients by creating companies to co-own the patents, and negotiated and drafted license agreements with car manufacturers in order to develop and use the patents.
  • Assisting a client (author of a movie) in the negotiation of an agreement in order to produce and sell the movie in a worldwide disruptive platform.
  • Assisted one of our clients in a criminal lawsuit for counterfeiting acts of designs related to automotive spare parts. The geographical aspect of this case was particularly interesting because the use of spare parts is not yet harmonized within the EU.
  • Conducted an arbitration proceeding including healthcare products, related to the wrongful termination of a R&D agreement.
