I am an associate based in our London office who takes a practical approach to advising clients on the key commercial matters, with a particular focus on the sport and media sectors.

My practice primarily encompasses commercial/contractual matters, such as advising on media rights, sponsorship, licensing, merchandising, gambling and agency related agreements. I also have experience advising on the drafting and interpretation of rules as well as wider regulatory matters.

During my time at Bird & Bird, I have represented a wide range of sports organisations (including governing bodies, event organisers, clubs, individual athletes, commercial sponsors and agents) across a variety of sports. I also have experience client-side through several virtual secondments including with a global sports and media agency and a national football governing body.

I joined Bird & Bird in 2018 from a major US firm. Prior to my career in law, I was a professional rugby player having represented Scotland Sevens on the IRB World Series.
