Leila advises clients across a broad range of industries on employment and industrial law.
Leila is a senior associate in our International HR Services group, based in Sydney.
She has experience in a wide range of employment and industrial law areas including advising on and undertaking workplace investigations. She regularly negotiates, drafts and advises on employment related documents such as contracts of employment, executive employment arrangements, secondment agreements, service agreements and workplace policies.
Leila works on the employment aspect of an array of commercial and transactional issues including mergers and acquisitions, share sale arrangements, corporate restructures, transfer of business and transfer of employment situations. She also advises on termination of employment including unfair dismissal and adverse action claims; as well as the protection of confidential information and trade secrets.
In addition, Leila advises on compliance with employment laws, with a commercial and client focused approach. She has developed and delivered internal and external training programs on a range of employment matters including sexual harassment, managing ill and injured workers.
Prior to joining us in 2014, Leila advised and acted for clients in private practice and for employer organisations. She has worked with clients in a broad range of industries including retail and consumer, manufacturing, health, childcare and professional services.
