As an associate in our Dispute Resolution Group, based in Frankfurt, the focus of my work is on national and cross-border litigation and arbitration proceedings.

I have several years of professional experience in advising clients in domestic and international litigation and arbitration proceedings. Prior to joining Bird & Bird, I worked for an American law firm.

I primarily advise on disputes in the areas of energy, finance, restructuring, insolvency, commercial law as well as the enforcement of German and foreign judgments and arbitral awards.

I have also gained transactional experience with syndicated financings and restructurings including the related litigation such as the representation of creditors in insolvency proceedings.

My clients are mainly international business enterprises, state-owned corporations, mid-size companies or entrepreneurs in complex, mostly cross-border disputes. Many of my clients are in the energy and utilities sector, the plant and engineering industry, or the finance sector.

My practice comprises legal disputes in the areas of corporate and commercial law, (long-term) supply and /or distribution contracts and comprehensive business law legal advice including restructuring/insolvency and financing issues.

I regularly represent domestic and foreign clients in proceedings before the state courts and often act as a counsel in arbitration proceedings under the auspices of leading arbitration institutions such as the German Arbitration Institute (DIS), ICC, SCC, and LCIA.

I am a member of the DIS-40 organisation.
