As a junior associate in our International Privacy & Data Protection group and Corporate group in Denmark, I specialise in data protection (GDPR) and corporate matters with the ambition to always seek pragmatic commercial solutions for our clients.

The field of data protection has changed over the last few years alongside the tech industry, which makes it easier than ever to access and share data. Data processing is typically not confined by borders, which emphasises the need for an international understanding of the field. At Bird & Bird, we are able to assist our clients with an international understanding of the field due to our international cross-border services.

Expert advice requires a broad legal experience as well as insight into various industries and technologies. With this in mind, I am dividing my time between our Privacy & Data Protection team and our Corporate team focusing on the Tech & Comms sector. This allows me to advise on data protection and the legal aspects of new technologies, such as Big Data, algorithms, AI and blockchain technology, when implemented for commercial use in organisations as well as M&A and real estate.

As a result of having lived abroad for several years, I have gained an open-minded approach to different cultures as well as language proficiency. I use this experience when I communicate with our clients in order to provide the best and most pragmatic commercial solutions for them.
